Royal Creamed Honey
Every jar of honey contains the work of thousands of bees. Royal Creamed Honey brings together the full spectrum of the hive — honey, royal jelly, propolis, and bee pollen — each one a distinct product of the hive with its own nutritional profile and long history of traditional use.
We start with our reserve wildflower creamed honey — selected from the top 30% of our harvest and stone-milled to a silky, semi-solid texture — and enrich it with three of the hive’s most prized additions. If you enjoy honey as part of your everyday routine, Royal Creamed Honey offers a special way to experience more of what the hive produces in every spoonful.
What's in it and why it matters
Royal jelly is the exclusive food of the queen bee throughout her adult life. Naturally rich in B vitamins, amino acids, enzymes, and unique fatty acids, it has a long history of use in traditional wellness practices.
Propolis is part of the hive’s natural defense system — a resinous substance bees collect from plants and use to seal and protect their hive. It naturally contains polyphenols and flavonoids and has been valued in traditional wellness practices for centuries.
Bee pollen is naturally nutrient-rich, containing proteins, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Combined with raw honey, royal jelly, and propolis, it helps make Royal Creamed Honey the most complex blend in our creamed honey collection.
A carefully crafted creamed honey
Naturally crystallized honey is milled through a stone mill until it becomes a silky, semi-solid seed honey with a smooth texture and no noticeable graininess. That seed honey is introduced into fresh reserve wildflower honey, then held at a carefully controlled temperature and slowly stirred at intervals over several days.
Once jarred, the honey rests in temperature-controlled storage for several weeks to finish setting, creating the dense, creamy texture that makes it wonderfully spreadable.
Independently tested
Because bees forage over wide areas, producing certified-organic honey in the United States presents unique challenges. Instead, each retail batch of our honey is independently tested and Certified Glyphosate Residue Free by the Detox Project, providing additional transparency from hive to jar.
What it tastes like
The reserve wildflower creamed honey base brings buttery floral sweetness. Royal jelly adds subtle complexity, propolis contributes a faint earthy depth, and bee pollen rounds everything out with a delicate natural sweetness.
The result is rich, nuanced, and deeply satisfying — the most complex of our creamed honey line.
How to enjoy it
Enjoy a spoonful straight from the jar, spread it over toast or warm biscuits, stir it into tea or warm lemon water, swirl it into yogurt or oatmeal, or add it to a cheese board.
