Calendula Plantable Note Card

Send a thoughtful message that can bloom into something beautiful. This Calendula Note Card features an original botanical illustration of the medicinal plant calendula (Calendula officinalis), printed on cream-colored plantable paper made from post-consumer waste.

The paper is embedded with a cheerful mix of wildflower seeds, so after the card has been enjoyed, it can be planted instead of tossed away. Each card comes with a recycled kraft envelope and is blank inside, leaving plenty of room for your own message.

Plant It & Watch It Grow

When it’s time to give your card a second life, cover the paper with about 1/8 inch of soil in an area with full to partial sun. Keep the soil moist while the seeds establish. With proper care, sprouts may begin emerging in approximately 4–6 days.
